What's new?
We're proud to present the latest version of Pixotope, featuring performance improvements, expanded connectivity as well as new workflow options that will elevate your virtual productions.
Engine
DLSS 4 Integration
We've integrated NVIDIA's breakthrough DLSS 4 technology, giving your virtual productions a significant performance boost while enhancing visual quality. Our implementation focuses on two key features: improved Super Resolution that delivers sharper, more detailed images even at lower render resolutions, and enhanced Ray Reconstruction that provides superior lighting accuracy, refined shadows, and clearer reflections in complex scenes. These advancements enable smoother camera movements and the ability to run demanding virtual environments on more accessible hardware.
Compatible with NVIDIA RTX 20/30/40/50 Series GPUs. Frame Generation features not supported.
Source control and collaboration plugin
Easily manage your projects in Synced Storage directly within the Engine with our new Asset Hub plugin. Check file states at a glance, push and pull changes with a few clicks, and collaborate seamlessly with your team through file locking and versioning - all without leaving the Editor.

VideoIO
SMPTE 2110: The Complete Toolkit
We're taking our SMPTE 2110 support to the next level! Building on our existing implementation for high-quality, uncompressed video over IP using Matrox ST 2110 cards, we've now expanded with mission-critical broadcast infrastructure features:
NMOS Integration - Simplify your device discovery and connection management with Networked Media Open Specifications support (AMWA IS-04 & IS-05)
Network Redundancy - Keep your production running smoothly with seamless switching on packet level between your main and backup networks, when these are dropping packets or one is completely down (SMPTE 2022-7).
PTP Redundancy - Maintain perfect synchronization across your redundant network architecture. We will receive PTP time reference from both networks and choose the most reliable one automatically.

NDI improvements
You can now use NDI as your main camera input and even as a genlock source. We've also improved buffering for smoother NDI input with less choppiness. This expanded NDI support offers more flexibility in your virtual production workflow, especially when SDI infrastructure is limited. Just ensure your network infrastructure is robust enough to handle the timing-sensitive data.
Synthetic timecode
Simplify your timing workflow with our new Synthetic timecode feature. Using the Pixotope network, you can create a shared time reference across machines. For example can you now synchronize your XR machines without a dedicated time code generator.

Support for multiple SDI cards
Expand your videoIO capabilities with multiple SDI - AJA cards in a single machine. Now you can run more inputs and outputs without adding additional computers to your setup.
Support for audio pass-through
Our new audio pass-through functionality lets you route incoming audio from your SDI - AJA sources directly to your SDI outputs, maintaining perfect audio-video synchronization throughout your Pixotope workflow.

Presets
Building on the success of presets in our Video Keyer panel, we now extend this powerful feature across all Adjustment panels. For rapid experimentation use Quick presets to instantly store and compare different adjustments. To trigger them from the Control panel or the API use Named presets to easily identify them long term.
Test complex presets before using them on-air to ensure smooth performance.

Control panel
Vector input widget
Controlling 2D, 3D and 4D vectors can now be done from a single, adaptive widget making editing position, rotation or color values a breeze.

Snapshot widget
Our first step towards a full real-time multi-viewer lets you display frames from any video source in your production using a regular update interval. This allows you to build your own multi-viewer-like layout to monitor multiple feeds from one Control panel.
